The \ (back slash) on the initial representation of the full DN is an RFC-compliant way to display a DN with a comma in it, indicating that the comma should be interpreted literally, not as a separator between parts of the DN. Open the Certificate Details dialog, then double-click the Subject row in the resulting grid. On the dialog the appears, you should see that the parts of the DN are listed separately, and that the \ (back slash) is not present.
